Description

Meath County Council is committed to ensuring its compliance with data protection legislation and principles and to ensure that its policies, processes and procedures are sufficiently robust to guide organisational compliance and provide adequate assurance. Meath County Council also wishes to ensure that it can effectively deal with any data protection issues that arise and provide tailored solutions to support the organisation in managing associated risks. To achieve this, Meath County Council proposes to engage in a competitive process for the award of a contract to undertake a data protection compliance audit, make any necessary recommendations and provide guidance on their implementation. The contract will also include the provision of data protection advisory services and supports where the need arises including guidance in establishing a CCTV Oversight Board.
