Description

Lancaster University is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this Invitation to Tender (ITT) for a Project Manager for LUMS Refurbishment (Phase 2 East) Project 2024 working with a Quantity Surveying Services Consultancy on behalf of Lancaster University from Stage 5 to 7. Lancaster University's Management School (LUMS) have embarked on an ambitious programme to redevelop and expand the existing management school complex of buildings. A first phase of the Management School redevelopment (LUMS01) has been successfully delivered to provide the new built West Pavilion. The second phase of the development (LUMS02) consists of the refurbishment of existing buildings Gillow House, Graduate Management School, Lecture Theatres 5-8, Gillow Quad and Lancaster Leadership Centre. The West Pavilion, Lancaster Leadership Centre and Lecture Theatres 5 to 8 will remain operational for the full duration of the works. To develop the project, LU appointed a Principal Contractor on a Pre-Construction Service Agreement to review the previous design and develop the design to respond to the future requirements for LU following the pandemic and any changes are developed to RIBA Stage 4. As the design develops, a phasing programme and costing process will be developed however the current programme is included in this document for information.
