Gateshead Council is preparing to tender a contract to appoint a services provider to operate an "Active Travel Hub" located in Birtley Library. The active travel hub will provide walking, cycling and wheeling support to residents, workplaces, community groups, education settings and other sectors of society. As part of this process the Council is conducting a Market Engagement Exercise to establish the level of interest in this opportunity, to gather information and improve our understanding of the market.
