Newport City Council (NCC) is carrying out an Under threshold open tender process to install automatic roller high-speed shutter doors to support the ANPR systems already being installed at both Kingsway and Park Square Multi Stoey Car Parks along with:• Supports medium to long term staffing arrangements, enforcement, and monitoring of sites. May lead to a reduction of agency staff costs.• Efficiency savings.• Future Proofing.• Increased Revenue Generation – Option to go to 24hr parking.• Significant reduction in anti-social behaviour and inappropriate use of the car parks, as access will be fully controlled.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
