Description
The subject of this call for tenders is the supply of vaccination devices for the immunization against Covid-19 and other medical supplies used for the care of Covid-19 hospitalized patients. It consists of 27 lots grouped under six categories (vaccine carriers, waste containers, injecting devices, disinfectants, personal protective equipment and anaesthetic consumables). The contract award notice covers 11 lots (6-15 and 20) under two categories (category 3: Injecting devices (syringes and needles) and category 5: Personal protective equipment (gloves)). 46 framework contracts in cascade were signed with seven tenderers. Syringe, re-use prevention feature, 1 ml, with fixed needle: — syringe maximum capacity of 1 ml, with graduations of 0.1 ml, to allow accurate measurements of 0.3 ml and 0.5 ml; — suitable for mRnA vaccine; — latex free and not made of polycarbonate; — re-use prevention feature (RUP); — BS EN sterile hypodermic needles for single use; — 23 G or 25 G 1” (25 mm) needle length; — syringes for manual use; — preferably 5-year shelf life; — dose sparing and suitable for use in high volume campaigns; — if available, EMN/CND code A02.
