Description
A single party framework agreement for the manufacturing and/or supply of Retrofit Excess Flow Valves (REFVs) and associated equipment for Gas Networks Ireland. Applicant shall note that if they are appointed to the framework agreement, they will be required to supply either directly to the Gas Networks Ireland or at the contracting entity's sole discretion, to the contracting entity’s agents or other authorised contractors on the same terms to the terms of the framework agreement. All applicants to note; in order to pre-qualify they must be able to demonstrate that they can fulfil all the requirements for Gas Networks Ireland for the specific items being applied for. For further information please refer to PQQ Document. A single party framework agreement for the manufacturing and/or supply of Retrofit Excess Flow Valves (REFVs) and associated equipment for Gas Networks Ireland. Applicant shall note that if they are appointed to the framework agreement, they will be required to supply either directly to the Gas Networks Ireland or at the contracting entity's sole discretion, to the contracting entity’s Agents or other authorised contractors on the same terms to the terms of the framework agreement. All Applicants to note; in order to pre-qualify they must be able to demonstrate that they can fulfil all the requirements for Gas Networks Ireland for the specific items being applied for. It is envisaged that the scope of products and services of the initial contract to be drawn-down under the framework agreement will be, but are not limited to; retrofit excess flow valves suitable for insertion through a 3/4” ball valve per EN 331, and through a 3/4” meter box adaptor with minimum internal ID of 19 mm or 21 mm respectively to 25 mm or 32 mm polyethylene SDR 11 pipe at a maximum operating pressure equal to 4 barg in domestic or small industrial/commercial gas meter installations under live natural gas conditions. Associated installation and test equipment will cover the following: The proposed supply requirements are to be in one (1) lot divided into the following items as detailed below: Item 1: 100 samples each of valves suitable for live insertion through meter installation into 25 mm OD PE service pipe and 32 mmOD PE service pipe, plus one piece of each piece of equipment necessary for valve insertion and testing plus training for 3 days at GNI NSC, Finglas in Dublin. Item 2: Bulk REFVs rates, Item 3: Equipment rates, Item 4: Training days rates. The requirements for the manufacture and/or supply of the (REFVs) under this framework agreement will include arrangements for delivery to GNI Stores located in Cork and Dublin or specified location by the contracting entity’s agents or other authorised contractors. Applicants should note that from time to time over the term of the single party framework agreement, the contracting entity, at its sole discretion but without altering the overall nature of the single party framework agreement, may require to modify the scope of the contract to reflect changes in the (REFVs), ancillary equipment and fitting requirements required for the operation and maintenance of GNI’s gas network and resulting from technology-driven innovation developments. The conditions under which such option may be exercised by the contracting entity will be outlined in the ITT document.
