The Road Supervisory Authority intends to enter into a contract with Transportøkonomisk Institutt (TØI) for the development of new knowledge in a dialogue with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Nye Veier, the counties, and other interested parties, in order to give feedback that can strengthen the parties' collaboration on traffic safety. The Road Supervisory Authority intends to enter into a contract with Transportøkonomisk Institutt (TØI) for the development of new knowledge in a dialogue with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Nye Veier, the counties, and other interested parties, in order to give input that can strengthen the parties' collaboration on traffic safety. This procurement is planned to be carried out as a direct procurement as the contracting authority believes that there are legal grounds in this procurement to not hold a tender competition, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations §2-5. The procurement involves research where new knowledge is developed in a dialogue with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Nye Veier, the counties, and other interested parties, in order to give input that can strengthen the parties' collaboration on traffic safety. The result will not belong to the contracting authority in its entirety. The aim of the preliminary project is to discuss knowledge holes and experienced need for further research that will give tools, measures, aids, etc., that can improve safety management in all road administrations. The provision for signing a contract is thereby considered to be met. The notice is published in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations §21-5.
