Building surveying services

Description

East Lothian Council intends to undertake Condition Surveys and Summary Disability Discrimination Act Access Audits across its existing Public Buildings Estate. The condition surveys will comprise survey of public buildings in terms of external and internal fabric and M&E services, preparation of condition surveys reports (including population of asset database) and photographic survey as part of condition survey reports and database. The Summary DDA Access Audits will comprise survey and carrying out of Summary Disability Discrimination Act Surveys of Public Buildings. In addition, the commission is to include for the population of a Centralised Priority Works Schedule. The commission will be split into 3 phases and undertaken between 2016 and 2017.
