Description

Eliteform Manufacturing Ltd seek tenders for a rollforming production system intended for the manufacture of formed steel profiles to a defined geometry. The equipment shall be capable of continuous industrial operation and deliver consistent dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and repeatability in line with agreed production requirements. The system shall form profiles in accordance with drawings to be provided, including where required the formation of a longitudinal seam, ensuring stability and uniformity along the full product length. The line shall be suitable for processing pre-coated plastisol coated steel strip, typically in the range of 1.2 mm thickness. The design must ensure that material coatings are protected throughout the process, with no scratching, deformation, or degradation during forming, cutting, or handling. Finished products shall meet defined tolerances for straightness, angular accuracy, and length, suitable for downstream handling and installation. The forming process shall maintain consistent geometry and alignment during continuous production. The production process shall include decoiling, strip feeding and levelling, progressive rollforming, optional seam forming and closure, in-line cutting to length, and discharge to a receiving system. All stages shall be integrated and synchronised for efficient operation. The equipment shall comprise a decoiling unit suitable for standard steel coil coil sizes 3-5 tons, a multi-stand rollforming section with precision-machined and hardened tooling, a robust machine frame designed for rigidity and stability, and a suitable drive system sized to meet production demands. Tooling and shafts shall be manufactured from appropriate materials and heat-treated to ensure durability and accuracy. Where seam formation is required, the system shall incorporate dedicated stations to produce a consistent and mechanically sound seam without inducing defects or coating damage. Cutting shall be performed by a non-stop system capable of maintaining production speed while achieving accurate lengths with clean, burr-free edges. The control system shall be PLC-based with an operator interface allowing adjustment of production parameters, including speed, length, and quantity. Measurement systems shall ensure accurate length control, and all electrical components shall be sourced from recognised manufacturers. Hydraulic systems, where used, shall be fully integrated and designed for reliable operation. The system shall include a suitable product discharge arrangement to allow safe and efficient handling of finished profiles. All equipment shall be supplied with necessary accessories, standard spare parts, and tooling required for operation and maintenance. The supplier shall provide full documentation, including layout drawings, schematics, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions. Equipment shall undergo testing prior to delivery to demonstrate conformity to profile requirements, dimensional tolerances, and overall performance. Installation, commissioning, and operator training shall be included to ensure correct setup and efficient operation. Final acceptance shall be based on successful demonstration of performance, product quality, and compliance with the specified requirements.
