Description
i) Development of up to three permanent Surgical Services Hubs to be located on Health Service Executive (“HSE”) owned sites in Limerick, Cork and Waterford. ii) The HSE is initiating this tender competition in order to identify an economic operator with capability and experience develop up to three surgical services hubs to HSE specifications using rapid build construction technology. iii) The Contracting Authority requires each of the surgical hubs to be delivered as soon as possible. However, there will be an envisaged upper time limit of 12 months for the works from the award of the contract or the award of each relevant option (which will be dependent on obtainment of appropriate planning permission by the Contracting Authority) subject to applicable Extension of Time (EoT) events which will be detailed in the Invitation to Tender (ITT). iv) The estimated size of each surgical hub will be 4,000 to 4,500 sq.m with additional plant space of circa 1,800 sq.m. v) The Surgical Hubs must be delivered in accordance with the Government's Climate Action Plan, 2023 and Climate Action and Low Carbon Development (Amendment) Bill 2021. i) Development of up to three permanent Surgical Services Hubs to be located on Health Service Executive (“HSE”) owned sites in Limerick, Cork and Waterford. ii) The HSE is initiating this tender competition in order to identify an economic operator with capability and experience develop up to three surgical services hubs to HSE specifications using rapid build construction technology. iii) The Contracting Authority requires each of the surgical hubs to be delivered as soon as possible.
