Description

At present, a requirement exists for the analysis of approx. 1500 seawater samples for carbonate parameters - dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) and total alkalinity (TA) over a maximum 3-year period. The number of samples is approximate and may be changed upwards or downwards. The estimated three year maximum contract value is €100,000 ex VAT (inclusive of extension period). The tenderer will carry out laboratory testing for DIC and TA on collected seawater samples. Note: Samples are poisoned with 0.02 ml of a 50percent saturation solution of mercuric chloride. The Marine Institute invites tenders to this request for tenders from economic operators for the provision of the services. In summary, the Services comprise: the analysis of seawater samples for carbonate parameters (Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) and Total Alkalinity (TA)).
