The scope of commodities to be covered in the framework are as follows: Lot 1: Confectionery, Snacks and Soft Drinks; Lot 2: Cakes (Ambient, Chilled, Fresh and Frozen); Lot 3: Convenience Retail Grocery (Ambient, Chilled, Fresh and Frozen); Lot 4: Convenience Retail Alcohol; Lot 5: Convenience Retail Non-Food; Lot 6: Cigarettes, Tobacco, E-Cigarettes and associated products; Lot 7: One Stop Shop (incl. all above). The scope of commodities to be covered in the framework are as follows: Lot 1: confectionery, snacks and soft drinks • chocolate bars • bagged chocolate • sweets • mints and chewing gums • protein bars • boxed and seasonal chocolate; • soft drinks; • snacks (crisps, nuts, popcorn, etc.). Lot 2: cakes (ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen) • large pre-sliced cakes; • tray bakes • cake slices • muffins • biscuits • flapjacks • high protein products • patisserie. Lot 3: convenience retail grocery (ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen) • ambient grocery (savoury snacks, canned goods, soft drinks, alcohol) • chilled (meat, fish, dairy, pre-prepared meals, desserts, snacks) • fresh (fruit, vegetables, salads, flowers, bakery) • frozen (fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, pre-prepared meals). Lot 4: convenience retail alcohol • beer • wine • cider • spirits • champagne and sparkling wine • low alcohol/gluten free • alcohol free equivalents. Lot 5: convenience retail non-food • laundry • household goods • small electronic items. Lot 6: cigarettes, tobacco, e-cigarettes and associated products • cigarettes • tobacco and associated products • e-cigarettes and associated products. Lot 7: One Stop Shop (incl. all above) • confectionery • cakes • convenience retail grocery (ambient, chilled fresh and frozen) • international/world foods • alcohol • convenience retail non-food In addition to the products required under Lot 7 One Stop Shop, we will also be looking for the successful tenderers to be able to provide a selection of the following services to support their Lot 7 offer: • online ordering system • integrated till system • assistance with store planning/layout/design • planograms • retail training • promotional calendar • point of sale • fully branded offer (shop fascia, POS, ins-tore branding) • support with local charities • volume/value rebate • dashboard facility for spend data It is envisaged that when bidding for a lot(s) suppliers will be able to cover much of the scope of each of the lot(s).
