Fruit drinks often contain more water than real juice and usually have flavourings, artificial sweeteners and colourings added. This segment also includes dilutables such as cordials, squash, powders and other concentrates. Over the five years through 2021to22, revenue generated by this segment is expected to have decreased, reaching 2 percent of industry revenue. Suppliers should support over the annual period such as energy drinks during exam period where suppliers see a huge increase in sales. Freshers, promotions, throughout the year to help sales across campuses.Sports drinks are designed to enhance physical performance before, during and after physical activity. They are typically manufactured to replace fluids and electrolytes lost by perspiration and boost the body's carbohydrate intake. Energy drinks on the other hand are traditionally sugar based.
