Southmoor Academy are tendering the cleaning services. Buildings purpose/use square meters Old block main reception, admin and leadership offices, main hall, reading suite, pupil reception, house leadership and science, modern foreign languages and art and technology classrooms 1 800 m2 (ground floor) 390 m2 (ground floor) 160 m2 (ground floor) 1 800 m2 (first floor) 390 m2 (first floor) 20 m2 (first floor) 1 800 m2 (second floor) New block Includes the main computer suite, English, Maths and Humanities classrooms. The Drama and Music Department, gym and swimming pool are all attached to the ‘The New Block’, with the main restaurant area located adjacent. 1 800 m2 (ground floor) 1 800 m2 (first floor) 1 800 m2 (second floor) 320 m2 (ground floor) 320 m2 (first floor) (Swimming pool not within cleaning requirements) Sixth form adjacent to the old block, for the use of sixth form only with a dedicated café, IT suite and classrooms 1 026 m2 (Ground Floor) Main School Yard This is situated between the old and new blocks, with a special quad for year 7 students located within the confines of ‘The Old Block’. No cleaning requirements for external and covered yard areas). Other Information 1) No cleaning requirements for swimming pool cleaning; 2) No cleaning requirements for dining hall area cleaning; 3) Southmoor House requires very occasional cleaning (use as exams venue) and this operationally is taken from within the existing hours when required. 4) Toilet Attendant — the existing contract provides a toilet attendant for cleaning and supervision duties over the lunchtime period, a provision which we wish to continue (4.75 hours daily coverage).
