Agricultural and Rural Economy Directorate - Paying Agency Information Security & Privacy Management System Scope; “Achievement of payment of Scottish Government payment schemes to Scottish rural businesses, including related agricultural business process administration and inspection services”. The Directorate is the accredited Paying Agency in Scotland for Scottish Government Agricultural Policy related schemes. ARE aims to support Scotland's sustainable economic growth, especially in the rural community, making the most of Scotland's environment and natural assets. In addition to ISO 27001 the Agricultural and Rural Economy Directorate has also decided to extend certification to include ISO 27701.
