Young Carers Support Service

Description

Due to the approaching expiry of an existing contract the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is advertising to seek tenders from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for the delivery of a Young Carers Support Service. The duration of this contract is two (2) years and six (6) months initially from 1st October 2025 until 31st March 2028 plus an option to extend for a further year (1), at the sole discretion of the Council, subject to funding and performance. Our vision in the re-tender of this service is to work in partnership with an appropriately experienced contractor to sustain, and develop further, a quality support service for Young Carers in Barking and Dagenham. The service will be compliant with the Children and Families Act 2014 and the Care Act 2014. Organisations should be aware that Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations may apply The deadline for tender submissions will be 1pm, Monday 14th July 2025.
