Description

The requirement is for services relating to engineering, technical design, signal propagation and protocol specification for smart metering-related devices. The service provider develops and maintains specifications led by DESNZ on behalf of industry covering smart metering systems and related devices and the communications protocols underpinning the end-to-end system. It requires detailed knowledge of smart metering devices and their communications & security protocols, government and industry specifications and assurance processes, radio frequency signal propagation, the design and conduct of device trials and an ability to advise on technical issues identified during the rollout.
