DFI - 2963273 - Materials Testing Lab

Description

The Contract is for the provision of a new Materials Testing Laboratory for DFI Roads, located within the existing DFI Roads depot, Carn Industrial Estate, Craigavon. This new 720sqm two storey building will provide ground floor testing facilities for the testing of concrete, bitumen and aggregates as well as storage areas for the storage of materials, equipment and samples. The testing labs do not require any significant specialist requirements. At first floor level there will be office accommodation for 17no. staff, as well as meeting rooms and staff welfare facilities. The anticipated end users of this building will be DFI Roads staff. The project has been developed up to RIBA Stage 3 and this contract will be administered as a two stage develop and construct NEC3 Option A contract.
