Creation of short video series for the Heritage Offices of Laois and Offaly County Councils

The Heritage Offices of Laois and Offaly County Councils are seeking quotes for the production of a series of short videos documenting progress over time at the Conservation and Pollination Project, a joint Laois Offaly project which will see conservation of medieval masonry and management for pollinators at 6 graveyard sites three each in Laois and Offaly. The project runs until the end of 2023 and it is envisaged that progress will be recorded including interview with team and community members at each site once in 2021 and twice per year in 2022 and 2023. It is intended that footage will be edited to create the following: • One short (5 minute) film for each site at the end of 2023 showing how the project progressed over time (2021 – 2023) • One longer (c10 mins) final project film showing the impacts and results of the full project at all six sites over the three year period 2021 - 2023 • A short annual update for each county and for the project in total, suitable for sharing on social media (c 90 seconds x 3, each year 2021, 2022 and 2023) The videos will perform as an introduction, progress update and promotional tool for the Just Transition Project in Laois and Offaly, and will be shared online on the Youtube channel and other social media sites of each Heritage Office. Files should be submitted in formats suitable for sharing on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with subtitles in English. Details of the project, suitable interviewees, locations and broad stories will be provided by the Heritage Officer in each county but we are also looking for a company interested in contributing to the creative development of the videos.
