Water Coolers

Description

The University of Salford currently has two companies servicing 3 campuses (Peel Park, Frederick Road and Media City) and each school being allowed to manage their own requirements which has led to confusion and lack of ownership with staff turnover.<br /><br />• The University has over 25,000 students and 3,000 staff across the 3 campuses<br />• Some buildings are open 24/7 and others locked during the evenings & weekends<br />• Some areas are open outside of term time<br />• The University of Salford is seeking to replace its existing watercooler machines located across it’s Peel Park and Frederick Road campus buildings.<br />• The objective is to ensure watercoolers are in high footfall public areas of buildings and they are able to refill sports bottles with ambient and chilled water.<br />• Plastic/paper cups will not be provided at machines.<br />• The use of bottle-fed machines is not to be considered.
