Description
Dublin City Council wishes to invite tenders for the procurement of a rackmount SPARC T-Series server to replace an existing Oracle T5240 server which it is proposed to re-deploy within its Oracle infrastructure. The server will be deployed within an environment which is currently supported by a number of Managed Services. The server specification is governed by a number of factors including licencing, support and operational integration. The proposed server specification is as follows: • 2 x CPU, (SPARC T5 16-core 3.6 GHz processors as a minimum) • 256GB Memory, (DDR3-1066) • 2 x Dual Port 8 Gb Fibre Channel PCIe HBA. • One 300 GB 10000 rpm 2.5-inch SAS-2 HDD
