Wales’s red meat products – particularly lamb and beef – have a strong premium brand identity both at home and abroad. The perception of being produced to high standards of environmental sustainability, as well as traceability and welfare, is key to the future of these brands. HCC require specialist support to communicate the positive attributes of the Welsh lamb and beef sector in terms of sustainability to a wide UK audience, in a period when environmental issues will command extensive media and political attention. This includes the London-based media, as well as policy-makers, NGOs and public affairs actors. We therefore seek support from experienced public affairs and communications professionals with a strong track record of delivering impactful, effective and quantifiable campaigns.
