Description
Specialist technical support is required to ensure that the DMRB and MCHW can be aligned with the second generation Eurocodes, prior to withdrawal of first generation of Eurocodes by March 2028. This will ensure a smooth transition with no conflicts or inconsistencies on 31 March 2028 when the second generation Eurocodes are implemented. There is a need for support for National Highways Structures Group to undertake a review of the Second Generation Eurocodes and advice on the changes that may be required for the UK National Annexes. It is expected that this will include liaising with the external consultant/colleagues on various UK Standards committees. This will be followed by liaising with NH document owners to ensure changes to DMRB and MCHW are published at the same time when the switch to the second-generation Eurocodes takes place in March 2028.
