Description
1. Works will comprise the general repair and refurbishment of existing metalwork on bridges, steel and aluminium parapet rails to bridges and retaining walls and pedestrian guard rails. The works will take place at various locations within the Leeds Metropolitan District and may extend across the other West Yorkshire districts of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and York. Payment will be made on a labour, plant and materials basis. 2. Welding, cutting etc of mild and high tensile steel in solid and hollow sections may be required on site, or, by agreement in the Contractor's fabrication shop, together with the accurate cutting and alignment of the new work with the existing installation.
