Description

NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board (SHICB) invites providers to join our first Market Engagement event as we begin shaping the future of Out-of-Hospital services. This event marks the start of a collaborative journey to shape models that deliver on the NHS 10 Year Health Plan and achieve the three strategic shifts, moving care from hospital to community, transforming from analogue to digital, and shifting the focus from sickness to prevention. Please join us on 5th December 2025 when Jack Wagstaff, Executive Director of Strategic Commissioning will relay early service scoping considerations and the questions we are asking ourselves regarding the most appropriate configurations and models for Surrey citizens. We hope to hear provider insights, innovative ideas, and preferences to inform the scope of a forthcoming procurement programme. Lot 1: NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board (SHICB) invites providers to join our first Market Engagement event as we begin shaping the future of Out-of-Hospital services. This event marks the start of a collaborative journey to shape models that deliver on the NHS 10 Year Health Plan and achieve the three strategic shifts, moving care from hospital to community, transforming from analogue to digital, and shifting the focus from sickness to prevention. While the eventual contract(s) to be awarded may include services traditionally associated with Adult Community Services, our ambition is broader: to review and reimagine the entire Out-of-Hospital offer for Surrey citizens. Please join us on 5th December 2025 when Jack Wagstaff, Executive Director of Strategic Commissioning, will relay early service scoping considerations and the questions we are asking ourselves regarding the most appropriate configurations and models for Surrey citizens. We hope to hear provider insights, innovative ideas, and preferences to inform the scope of a forthcoming procurement programme. Important: No decisions have been made regarding service breakdowns, procurement routes, or payment mechanisms. This is an opportunity to influence thinking at the earliest stage. Over the course of engagement we aim to establish a shared understanding of what is possible and desirable across a broad spectrum of services, including but not limited to: • Community-based health and care services • Rehabilitation and reablement services • Preventative and proactive care models • Integrated and multidisciplinary approaches • Digital and Place based innovations For clarity, future service provision will be delivered for the benefit of citizens registered with GP practices in the whole of the county of Surrey (the current NHS Surrey Heartlands ICB footprint and the incoming areas of Surrey Heath and Farnham currently part of the NHS Frimley ICB footprint but subject to the ICB boundary change from April 2026) either from service commencement, or in a managed and phased manner. Services in scope of this premarket event discussion will not pertain to the current geography of NHS Sussex ICB. Who Should Attend: • NHS community service providers • Independent sector providers • VCSE organisations • Partnerships or alliances delivering integrated care • Primary Care Networks (PCNs) • GP Federations • Providers of digital health solutions • Market entrants or innovators in community health, rehabilitation, or preventative services How to Register: Interested providers should register for this event via the live opportunities list on the 'Health Family' E-procurement system, Atamis. Click on 'View our Live Opportunities' from the homepage, available on the following link: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome. Providers wishing to attend the event must submit a completed registration form, via the Atamis messaging system, no later than 4pm on 28/11/2025. The event details and agenda are available on Atamis. Ahead of the session, please complete the short questionnaire available on Atamis, or feel free to pose questions, particularly in regard to: • Preferred service groupings or configurations • Opportunities for integration and collaboration • Payment models and incentives • Barriers and enablers to innovation and transformation Please submit your completed questionnaires using the Atamis response, no later than 4pm on 28/11/2025. Additional information: This engagement process is designed to help the Commissioner to form a view of the best way to commission future services and is not the beginning of a Tender exercise. A Tender advertisement may be issued at the appropriate time, if required, should the Commissioner consider that the optimum route to commission each service is through a procurement process. Your feedback at this point will not have a bearing on any future Tender submissions you may wish to offer later, should the Commissioner undertake a procurement for this service. You will not be disadvantaged if you choose not to respond at this stage but it will be helpful to understand your views at this early stage, so you are encouraged to participate as fully as you can.
