Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to commission two Emotional Health and Wellbeing Navigators with a specific focus on substance misuse for an initial period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension subject to continued funding. The service will be commissioned through the Staying Close in Tameside project, which aims to strengthen emotional health, wellbeing, and substance misuse support for care-experienced young people across the borough. The commissioned service will deliver evidence based, supported self-management interventions designed to improve emotional wellbeing, reduce vulnerabilities associated with substance misuse, and empower young people to make informed decisions about their health. Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council intends to commission the service at the earliest opportunity, with an anticipated start date in April.
