Description

NIBRT wish to procure a capillary electrophoresis instrument to act as an inlet for use with various high-resolution Orbitrap mass spectrometers currently on site. The capillary electrophoresis instrument will be used for the analysis of analytes of varying molecular weight range, from small molecules to peptides and proteins, oligonucleotides and viral vectors for gene therapy delivery. The ideal solution will be one that offers the flexibility to perform all such analysis using a single hardware that offers both normal and reversed polarity options for separation depending on the properties of the analytes under study. The capillary electrophoresis instrument should allow for simple coupling to various mass spectrometers include Orbitrap Exploris family instruments, Q Exactive UHMR and Orbitrap tribrid series MS instruments. The ideal solution should operate without the need for a sheath flow to minimise analyte dilution.
