HDPE Cages and Sinker Tubes

Description

The Marine Institute requires 2 HDPE Circular Cages and Sinker Tubes for its Marine Research site at Lehannagh Pool. New or Reconditioned units will be considered. The Marine Institute may request a site visit to view reconditioned units. Units be delivered and installed by 20th November 2017. The technical requirements for the goods are listed below: • 3 rings of 250mm diameter SDR 17.6 HDPE base pipe. • Minimum gross buoyancy of 5000kg. • 20 x handrail uprights of 110mm dia. • 40 x net support cleats, 2 per upright • Full perimeter integral decking system. • 2 x sinker tubes of 55m circumference constructed from 250mm diameter SDR17 HDPE black pipe with a tube weight of approximately 20kg per linear meter. • Fabrication of both cages and sinker tubes to be carried out on site by qualified personnel.
