Description
The Amaerobic Fermentation System (AFS) will be an important element of a pilot plant and scale-up facility which will be used by industry, entrepreneurs, and researchers to validate and scale new technologies and processes to convert Ireland’s natural land and sea resources (including agri-food processing by-products) to products of high value for use to a wide variety of sectors. The AFS will be used to create databases to demonstrate feasibility, capacity, efficiency and economic viability of process and product samples for technical use.
