Description

This commission relates to the provision of Archaeologiccal Consultancy Services for the N70 Sneem to Blackwater Bridge (Tahilla to Doon) Road Project. The project is located in south Co. Kerry, Ireland, in the townlands of Tahilla and Derreennamucklagh and Doon. It comprises of the improvement of approximately 3.1km of National Secondary Road between Sneem and Blackwater Bridge. The project commences in the townland of Tahilla to the east of Sneem Village and terminates in the townland of Doon, approximately 4.5km to the west of Blackwater Bridge. The project will entail on-line widening/realignment of the existing N70 to provide a Type 3 Single Carriageway Road with cycle facilities.
