The business problem you need to solve The following work packages will be prioritised for the individual to support, working with Engineering, Product and Delivery colleagues in the team: IRM and CSDM - Establish the right alignment between IRM Entity Hierarchies and the CSDM so that Risk association to the organisation (Service Portfolios) or the estate (Services and Service Offerings in CSDM) is fully aligned and maintainable. Produce a best practice approach and design. Integration pattern and solution to enable user access transition to zScaler - Deliver the necessary material to get a proposed zScaler solution for ServiceNow user access through DWP Risk Assessment and Design Authority so a transition to zScaler based access away from legacy internal network routing can take place. Expansion of utilisation of the SPM module – We are set to expand to become the single portfolio management platform for all of DWP Digital and non-Digital Transformation. Provide support to Product Managers and Platform Engineers to help define the roadmap for adoption of wider aspects of the SPM module coupled with any work needed to remove historical configuration that might hinder progress. Secure provision of ServiceNow APIs – Define a new pattern to represent ways to securely expose and allow access to OOB REST APIs (connectivity, authentication, authorisation). The target outcome is to enable squads to reduce the time to live where the use case is to access and query our data via OOB REST APIs. Delivery of the required artefacts – pattern design doc(s), risk assessment changes, Design Authority pack. HR Complex Case - leverage the existing HRSD deployment (currently live for JML) to deliver a complex case management capability for HR. This work will require support for the squad in maximising the use of the OOB capabilities, minimising customisation, defining the scope of data to take through Data Protection Impact Assessment.
