Description

Procurement of system for digital inspection of household and holiday home chimneys. Lot 1: Bergen municipality at the Bergen Fire Service intends to enter into a contract with airMont AS for the delivery of a system for digital inspection of household and holiday home chimneys. The system consists of one sensor and the FireFly web interface. The sensor is installed on the top of the chimney and communicates with the FireFly cloud solution belonging to airMont. FireFly provides information on the actual firing conditions and alerts the fire service in the event of a chimney fire. The intention is that the system improves and streamlines the municipality's duty to inspect chimneys according to section 11 of the Fire and Explosion Protection Act, cf. the regulations on fire prevention section 17. The procurement also includes an option for the partner municipalities of Osterøy, Vaksdal and Samnanger The procurement applies to deliveries for 2+1+1 years.
