Operating radioprotection and laboratories (ORPL) teams of JRC Ispra, Directorate J, make use of several and different equipment for determining the radioactivity in samples from the environment and nuclear facilities of JRC Ispra and checking the level of contamination in items and exposed personnel for radioprotection purposes.
