Teaching internships are available for undergraduates in their second, third or final year, and master's students, who are studying for a degree in STEM-related subjects and modern foreign languages. For 2026, funding will be up to £2,065 per intern and divided as follows: · £1,365 (£455 per week) paid to the intern on completion of the full 3-week internship · up to £700 paid directly to the school for coordination and delivery costs, recruitment of interns, but not including marketing costs Eligibility: The grant is available for schools in England whose most recent Ofsted inspection was rated 'good' or higher. Schools must have the capacity to recruit and deliver a teaching internship to at least 5 interns, which include maths and physics interns. Participating schools are expected to deliver the following outcomes: A Teaching Internships programme targeted at undergraduates in their second, third or final years, and master's students, who could potentially teach maths, physics, chemistry, computing, design and technology or modern foreign languages.
