Description

The UK's Ministry of Defence (MOD) seeks to accelerate the development of quantum-enhanced Position, Navigation and Timing (QE PNT) capabilities. Our goal is to use these new technologies to obtain an operational advantage, allowing Defence freedom to operate even in the most challenging of environments. QE PNT can additionally unlock future capabilities which are currently inaccessible using legacy systems and bring the UK's armed forces to the cutting edge of military development. Developing and demonstrating atomic clocks and sensors, as part of a system of systems, is critical to this. We are therefore providing partners with an opportunity to showcase the relevance of their work in a defence and security context.
