Falkirk Council invited tenders for the survey and design of kitchens and supply of associated kitchen units and sundries to Falkirk Council central stores and to council housing properties in the Falkirk district area. To support void property, new build and general maintenance programmes, Falkirk Council established a Framework Agreement for Survey and design of kitchens in Council properties, provision of specified kitchen units, and sundries linked to the provision of these units is required. This consists of, but is not limited in type, size or in volume as described in the pricing schedule. One supplier was awarded Framework Supplier status. All relevant BS standards and FIRA Gold standard for kitchen units must be complied with. All new timber and wood-derived products supplied must be from a Legal and Sustainable source and the successful supplier will be required to maintain a Chain of Custody Report. Contract was not divided into lots due to the survey feeding into suppliers unit sizes and the requirement for the pre built and flat pack units to be identical. Contract will run from 1.1.2017 to 31.12.2019 with option to extend for 12 months.
