Description

DTU intends to acquire a bioreactor (10L w/v) for bacterial fermentation up to 70 degrees, capable of operating in batch and fed-batch mode with integrated control and gravimetric feeding capabili-ties. The system will support high-end gas mixing strategies with MFC for each gas (Air, Nitrogen, Oxygen and CO2), online balance integration. The software should allow full process control and recipe building, including external devices. The autoclavable bioreactor (1 unit) will be used for bacteria fermentation at pilot laboratory scale to support strain development, process optimiza-tion, and bioprocessing research. Equipment must be compatible with pre-existing lab infrastruc-ture, equipment and autoclave.
