The University of Limerick Graduate Entry Medical school(GEMS) was established in 2007.With an innovative structure based on two Directorates Education and Research.GEMS delivers a four year medical training to the Republic of Ireland and International graduates in any displine.Medical Students are required to undertake this immunisation programme before their clinical placement.Some students may have already received the relevant vaccinations required and will provide this information to the supplier of the immunisation programme. The immunisation status of these students should also be maintained by the supplier.
