Background and Bus Éireann Requirements: Bus Éireann has a requirement to re develop Capwell Depot, Summerhill Cork and to supply, Install, commission, and maintain approx. forty (40) EV chargers. This is an operational depot that will require to continue to be operational during this project. Description of Requirement: It is proposed to re develop the Bus Eireann site in Cork city. This project will involve: • Supply installation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure. • Construction of a sub station • Demolition of existing buildings. • Construction of new buildings. • Refurbishment of existing buildings. • Refurbishment and redevelopment of bus garage and yard. Overall Value of project €16.5m Timelines Subject to ESB Networks MIC upgrade and any planning permissions required. Lot 1: Please be advised this is NOT a call for competition and Bus Eireann are not seeking tenders in this regard at this time. A tender will be advertised at a later date. This PIN is a market sounding/information gathering exercise to identify suppliers in the marketplace who could provide Civil and Works and supply of EV Chargers which meet the Bus Eireann requirements. In the first instance, interested parties are invited to prepare a brief document to include the following: 1. Company contacts details to include an address, a phone number and an email address 2. Details of company’s expertise 3. Details of current contract or previous experience with similar project. 4. Indication of interest in participating in a competitive tendering procedure for provision of services as described (planned tender advertisement date Q4 2023 – Q2 2024) It is the intention of the Bus Éireann to conduct a competitive tendering procedure for the redevelopment of the Bus Éireann Capwell Depot, Summerhill, Cork City including supply installation commissioning and maintenance of forty (40) double chargers It is emphasised that this is NOT a call for competition and therefore NO tender documents are available. Interested parties in the first instance express interest through etenders, providing the information requested above, no later than Tuesday 21st of February 2023. Any queries can also be submitted through the questions and answers facility on etenders up to close of business on Monday 13th February 2023.
