The main focus of a Care and Housing Related Support Service for People with a Learning Disability is to enhance and sustain the quality of life of the individuals concerned; there should be a focus on progression, independence, giving the person a voice and choice and control. The service provided should be person centred with specified outcomes including considering the potential for personal development. Crucial to this is the creation of an environment in which the individual's independence is respected, their status protected and encouragement given to individuality and therefore the fulfilment of potential. The service is to provide domiciliary care and housing related support to adults with a learning disability within the Loughor area of Swansea. As per tender documents.
