Description

Connexus is a community focussed rural housing group with over 10,500 homes across Shropshire and Herefordshire. Connexus has a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) which undertakes the majority of responsive and void (i.e. empty home) repairs. The organisation is looking to procure a framework contract for a range of subcontractors to supplement the work of the DLO, both for general and specialist trades. There are 9 Lots in total. Lot 1: General Building Works (Herefordshire) General repairs works to tenanted and vacant properties across Herefordshire, including plastering, electrical, joinery, plumbing, damp and condensation works, roofing repairs, painting and decorating, doors and windows, clearance of vacant dwellings and other general building repairs. For Lot 1, there are the following individual categories: - Clearance of empty properties - Roofing - Doors & Windows - Painting - Plastering - Damp & Condensation - Electrical - General building works Bidders do not have to be able to undertake every category and must indicate which Categories they wish to be considered for. Lot 2: General Building Repairs (Shropshire) General repairs works to tenanted and vacant properties across Shropshire, including plastering, electrical, joinery, plumbing, damp and condensation works, roofing repairs, painting and decorating, doors and windows, clearance of vacant dwellings and other general building repairs. For Lot 3, there are the following individual categories: - Fencing - External works Bidders do not have to be able to undertake every category and must indicate which Categories they wish to be considered for. Lot 4: External Works (Shropshire) Works to external areas around homes and housing estates across Shropshire, including fencing, paths, steps, handrails and hardstanding. For Lot 4, there are the following individual categories: - Fencing - External works Bidders do not have to be able to undertake every category and must indicate which Categories they wish to be considered for. Lot 5: Heating Servicing and repair of gas heating, electric storage heating, wood burners and renewable heating systems. Gas safety tests on vacant dwellings. For Lot 5, there are the following individual categories: - Gas heating- Including gas safety tests on vacant dwellings. - Electric storage heating - Wood burners - Renewables Bidders do not have to be able to undertake every category and must indicate which Categories they wish to be considered for. Lot 6: Adaptations Installations to help customers with disabilities, including adapted shower rooms, railings, ramps. Bidders are required to be able to undertake all trades associated with the work issued through this Lot. Lot 7: Drainage Repairs to drainage, clearance of blockages, CCTV surveys, smoke tests and associated excavation works. Bidders are required to be able to undertake all trades associated with the work issued through this Lot. Lot 8: Flooring Replacement and repair of flooring surfaces inside residential properties. Bidders are required to be able to undertake all trades associated with the work issued through this Lot. Lot 9: Scaffolding Erection, hire and dismantling of scaffolding to enable repair works to residential properties. Bidders are required to be able to undertake all trades associated with the work issued through this Lot.
