Description

Aids for Daily Living equipment (such as grab rails, bath seats, hoists, seating, dynamic mattresses, etc.) are provided by the Council to support people to remain living at home independently, facilitating hospital discharge and preventing admission. Aids for Daily Living are also installed in schools, care homes and Council managed public buildings, for example leisure and community centres. A short term call-off (4 months from 1 February 2022 to 31 May 2022) for the Equipment Supply (utilising YPO’s national framework entitled YPO 766 - Provision of Social Care Equipment Solutions and Associated Services) has been awarded in order to align the end dates of the Council's Aids for Daily Living contracts with a view to merging the contracts and tendering as one contract moving forward.
