The Lots shall be as follows: Lot 1 — agricultural fertilisers, including compounds and blends, Lot 2 — lime. Suppliers will be appointed to a lot on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. Tender responses will be evaluated on both technical and commercial merit and the top 5 ranked suppliers for each lot shall be appointed to each lot. Please note that the supplier offering the most economically advantageous tender for each lot will be awarded a contract to supply all purchasers for an initial period of three months. Suppliers must complete Schedule 4 based on the product types and delivery locations set for each Lot. Prices should only be provided for the Lots suppliers wish to be considered for. If a supplier is unable to supply a specific product type they should indicate this in their response to Schedule 4. Excel versions of Schedule 4 will be accepted. Suppliers must provide details of the technicians or technical bodies that they can call upon, especially those responsible for quality control in relation to this procurement exercise. Further, suppliers must provide details of the environmental management measures which the they will be able to use when performing the contracts. Full details of the requirement can be found in Schedule 2 of the invitation to tender.
