Is there a current incumbent? No. However there has been significant work carried out on this part of the codebase recently, this role is designed to complete that work towards a production-ready application 2. Could you please clarify whether engineers out of UK can be considered for this project? No. We are looking for candidates that are based in the UK 3. Regarding the essential requirement, "Testing frameworks – Jasmine, Cypress". Is the requirement to have experience in Jasmine and/or Cypress specifically, or were these just examples and experience in other testing frameworks will meet this requirement? Is Jasmine and/or Cypress currently being used? In answer to the first part of your question, we are looking for candidates with Jasmine and Cypress. Both are currently used. 4. Could you confirm the budget for this role? Please see the details in the role description above under "Maximum day rate". 5. Is there a current or preferred incumbent? No. We use the DOS framework to trawl for the best candidates we can find. 6. Could you please confirm that you are looking to start on 1 September and are committed to meeting it? we are asking this question as the start date looked very aggressive. Yes. While the turnaround is very aggressive, we are looking for candidates that are available, not ones that will become available shortly. 7. Can you confirm if there is a ceiling for the daily rate and what this might be? Based on the scoring matrix from DO4 guidelines this opportunity seems to be biased towards lower cost rather than higher quality and any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I refer you to the description above: Maximum day rate. Also, our scoring weighting is clearly favouring technical competence over price, with cultural fit a significant factor. 8. In regard to Q1, who has carried out the "significant work" on the codebase recently? A permanent member of staff or a supplier? If a supplier, is their contract ending before Sep 1st?If their contract is continuing beyond Sep 1st, will they be available to do hand-over with the specialist? Contractors contracts are ending before 1 September.A combination of contractors and permanent staff have worked on the App, so there will be some continuity.
