Offering our help early to prevent and reduce demand for specialist services.
- Addressing inequalities: Providing support for those who are most vulnerable using resources and assets to address wider factors that impact on health and wellbeing.
- Enabling resilient communities: Supporting people to remain independent whenever possible, through promotion of self-care, early prevention, and digital technology where appropriate.

The Commissioner is currently proposing the contract length will be 3 years to provide primary medical services to the population, which covers Greater Norwich, and enables the development of the service in the context of integrated system working, as outlined in Next-steps-for-integrating-primary-care: Fuller-Stocktake-Report, and other strategic developments across Norfolk & Waveney, within that contractual period.

Please note that whilst there may be an opportunity to comment on the contract length the Commissioners are not obligated to incorporate or change this.

The contract will start on 1st April 2025 and the estimated annual value of the contract is £3,582,325 and will be subject to an annual uplift which is to be determined. Current services will remain in place during this period in line with existing contracts and service level agreements.

The procurement will be advertised in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime(PSR) Notice. The awarding of this contract will be subject to the HealthCare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 will not apply to this award.

The Contracting Authority will be using an eTendering system for this market engagement exercise.
