Medicines Net Zero - understanding supply chain considerations & priorities

Supplier(s)

Deloitte MCS Limited

Value

Description

The climate emergency is a health emergency, and the UK government has committed to reaching net zero carbon by 2050. This means significantly reducing emissions as well as off-setting using carbon capture. As the health and care system in England is responsible for an estimated 4-5% of the country's carbon footprint, there is a major role for the NHS to play in supporting the government's net zero commitments. NHSEI is seeking short term external consultancy support to ensure continued progression of NHS Net Zero ambitions whilst recruitment to a substantive Medicines Net Zero Team continues.
