Description

As of 6 July 2023 Fire and Rescue Authorities are now listed in Schedule 1 Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions). The amendment to the Act means that Services are now able to perform Standard level DBS checks as a minimum level (subject to normal eligibility considerations for Enhanced/Enhanced with Barred Lists level checks) for all staff, volunteers and representatives. The Authority has used three quotes process, price only evaluation to award the contract.
