H3AT U-Beds

Description

The UKAEA wishes to engage with potential prime contractors, SME’s, pressure vessel designers and manufacturers for the supply of 7-off Depleted Uranium Getter Beds; each bed having similar secondary vessels but different internals within the primary vessels. Two concept designs have been developed, they will need to be taken through design analysis, manufacture, testing and then delivery to UKAEA’s site in Culham. Through this process we are looking to open-up the engagement for suppliers to understand the specific requirements for the Getter Beds and assist with informing the final procurement strategy.
