Provision of a Home Library Service for Dorset Council Residents
Published
Description
As part of its statutory provision, Dorset Library Service provides a range of free services to anyone who lives, works, or studies in Dorset. The Home Library Service is provided to individuals who are unable to access local libraries, who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to have books and other library materials delivered to their homes. It enables such individuals to have access to library materials based on their personal preferences and provides an opportunity for social contact. The Home Library Service is available to individuals living in their own homes, including residents of sheltered housing, within the administrative area of Dorset Council.
