Description

High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure as a further competition under the Servers, Storage and & Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) Lot 1 The infrastructure will be based upon multi-core nodes connected via a high-performance interconnect and high performance filesystem. The hardware for the new cluster will operate for a five year period in Europe. The University will purchase the hardware within the UK and will pay UK VAT. The hardware will be shipped to a UK facility to be built, then staged in the data centre.
